Q1: Where can I buy accessories for my Bond knitting machine?
Answer: If you are in the UK, there is no current supplier. However I am hoping to set this up sometime this

1. Draw a large circle on a piece of cardboard.
2. Draw a smaller circle inside it.
3. Cut out around the larger circle and then the smaller one so you have a cardboard ring.
4. Repeat for another one.
5. Hold the two rings together and (leaving a long end at the start of the yarn) start winding yarn around the circles and through the middle.
6. When you can't fit any more through, cut the yarn, again leaving a long end.
7. Holding it all very securely, position the point of a pair of scissors in the yarn loops so that you can cut through them, going in between the cardboard rings with the scissors.
8. When you have cut all the way around, seperate the two cardboard rings very slightly and wind the two yarn ends around between them and tie tightly to secure the yarn.
9. Finally pull (or cut) off the cardboard and fluff up the pompoms!

Answer: I don't think there is a technical site, but there are a few alternatives.
You could try posting your message to the rec.crafts.machine-knit newsgroup and also the uk.rec.crafts newsgroup to see if anyone else has come across the problem.
I would also suggest that you subscribe to the Bond Knitters Club Online which is an email discussion group for Bond knitters; it's a great source of help, advice, free patterns, and inspiration for all Bond Knitters. I would have thought you'd get various practical suggestions from its 900+ members! You can join by going to the Bond Knitters Club Online webpage.
