I had saved this email from last April when Kyle Ann posted it on the list.  I noticed that several
of you were asking about knitting for charities.  This one is for Guidepost.  I haven't made it but
I may give it a try myself.

Knitted T-Tops
Size:  2  4  6  8  10

Materials:
Worsted Weight Yarn
Solid T-Top
           9, 10, 12, 14, 16, oz.
        Striped T-Top
           Color A:  6, 7, 8, 10, 11
           Color B:  3, 4, 4, 5, 5
        Key Plates 2 & 3

Gauge:  16 sts & 21 rows = 4"

Solid T-Top
Front:
With KP 2, (closed) cast on 53, 56, 59, 62, 66 sts
Rows 1-2:  Knit 2 rows.  Convert 2nd row.
Rows 3-4:  Knit 2 rows.  Convert 4th row.
Rows 5-6:  Knit 2 rows.  Convert 6th row.
Rows 7-8:  Knit 2 rows.  Convert 8th row.

RC 000.  Change to KP 3.  Knit 45, 50, 55, 60, 66 rows.

Sleeves
RC 000.  On each of next 2 rows, cast on 22, 24, 25, 27, 29 sts.  Rehang
hem or use lots of weights!
Work across 97, 104, 111, 116, 124 sts to RC 29, 32, 34, 37, 39,
converting 3 sts each end, every other row.

Neck:  K 34, BO 29, 29, 31, 31, 33 sts loosely, K 34.
Next row:  K 34, cast on 29, 29, 31, 31, 33 sts loosely, K 34.

Back of sleeves
RC 000.  K 29, 32, 34, 37, 39 rows, converting 3 sts each end, every other
row.

Body
At beginning of next 2 rows, bind off 22, 24, 25, 27, 29 sts.
RC 000  Working across 53, 56, 59, 62, 66 sts,
knit 45, 50, 55, 60, 66 rows.

Change to KP 2 and repeat first 8 rows of front.  Bind off.

Finishing:  Sew side/sleeve seams in one continuous seam.

If you prefer to make the front separate from the back, work as above
until you reach the neck.  Instead of binding off in the middle, bind off
all stitches.  Work back same as front.  Sew shoulder seams leaving a 7,
7, 7.5, 7.5, 8" neck opening.

STRIPED T-TOP
Following instructions for Solid T-Top, work 1st 8 rows in Color A.
*Work next 6 rows in Color B, then 2 rows in Color A.  Repeat from *.
