Subject: [BOND] Pattern for sweater dress

Here is the pattern that I used for the sweater dress that I made. I made it
using a 2/9 acrylic yarn and based it on Linda B.'s short-capped sleeve top
from last summer. Mine is made in a medium size (36-38) You can change the
yarn used by using the conversion method previously posted on the list.
That's what I used to change it to my yarn.

Sweater Dress

gauge/ tension---20 sts x 24 rows on Keyplate 1

Back:

Cast on 95 sts using whichever method you prefer. ( Mine has a folded picot
hem)
Work 10 rows. Move every other stitch to adjacent needle for picot hem. Work
10 more rows and put your first row of stitches on the needle with the current
row. Reset row counter to 000. Work even for 155 rows (or to desired
length). Inc one (1) st at carriage side every row until you have 115 sts.
Work 42 rows even. ( 205 rows) Cast off in your preferred method.

Front:

Work same as back until you have 115 sts. Work 10 rows even.
Neck shaping: right side:
Remove center 10 sts to waste yarn. ( I used hold position and short rowing).
Bind off one stitch at neck edge EOR until you have 40 sts for shoulder and
sleeve cap. bind off in preferred method. Work even until you have 205 rows.
Repeat for left side. This makes a scooped neck ( not too deep--It's about
one inch past my collar bone) Bind off remaining stitches
Seam shoulder and side seams.

I worked the crab stitch around the neckline and let the sleeve caps curl but
finish in your preferred method.
If there are questions, please ask. I had the pattern written in my shorthand
(frightening) and may have made mistakes in the translation.
