I have used a Canadian mohair that is now our of business and will
give the yardage rather than the ounces. I personally used 10 - 50 gram
balls as the yardage on mohair is very good. To knit this with another type
of mohair yarn that knits to the same equivalent you would need 1725 yards.
So, look on the label adapt the tension of 15 stitches and 20 rows and then
take the number of yards on the ball and you should come up with the amount
you need. Depending on the weight of the yarn, it may take as much as 18 50
gram balls. Yardage does mean a lot along with tension.
